Chivalry Casino Review

Play now - Chivalry

I woke up this morning feeling a bit like royalty, I’m not entirely sure what was in my coffee… Anyway, royal urges require royal solutions, and with that, I decided to try out a newcomer on the scene, Chivalry Casino!

As soon as I typed in the address, I was greeted by a sleek black and gold design. The first visible banner was a 5% cashback deal when playing with live dealers. Just under it was the four main categories of games that the casino offers. Slots, Live Casino, Free Spins, and New Games. Also, I didn’t end up scrolling forever like with plenty of other casinos. Only takes a few seconds to reach the end of the page where you’ll find all the pages that you need. I appreciated the no-frills way the site operates. Straight to the point.

After scrolling further down, I came across their welcome bonus. A 3-deposit system that totals up to 375% up to 1,500 + 225 free spins. Something tells me I’m going to end up enjoying Chivalry Casino a lot more than I planned.

Pros and Cons

  • Over 60+ game providers that offer great designs for pretty much every theme
  • Wide range of slot games. We’re talking well over 1000 of them
  • Generous welcome bonus that totals up to 375%
  • Accepts cryptocurrency as a form of payment. Isn’t just limited to Bitcoin
  • Cons

  • Unlicensed for now (common for new casinos)
  • Difficult to find the Live Chat option
  • Casino Bonuses

Let’s face it, a casino’s only good as the bonuses they offer. Sure, you might get drawn in by their great designs, but none of that means anything if they don’t offer worthwhile bonuses. I navigated to the “Promotions” section of the website (super easy to do, by the way) and found six bonuses that they are offering. We’ll be talking about them in a bit, but first, let’s dissect the generous welcome offer I mentioned above.

    The Chivalry Welcome Package

Chivalry Casino’s theme is essentially knights and royalty. It’s best exemplified with their Chivalry Welcome Package. “Join the Knights of Chivalry”. Oh, you bet I will.

  • 1st Deposit: Receive a kingly 100% bonus on up to 500 + 100 free spins using code SIR1
  • 2nd Deposit: Receive a queen’s 125% bonus on up to 500 + 75 free spins using code SIR1
  • 3rd Deposit: Receive a princely 150% bonus. 50 free spins using code SIR1
  • This might be a pretty standard offer that you would expect from online casinos, however, my favourite part about this welcome package is that it adds up. Basically, you can combine the three for a total 375% bonus up to 1,500 + 225 free spins. I’m suddenly feeling a lot more like a knight in shining armour.

    Welcome Package Terms and Conditions

The Welcome bonus balance together with the deposited balance is subject to 30 times wagering requirements before withdrawal can be made.

    Gentle First Deposit Bonus

The Gentle First Deposit Bonus is a promotion exclusive to one of their games called Fire and Steel. The promo allows you to benefit from a 100% bonus + 100 free spins on Fire and Steel. All you have to do is use the Bonus Code: SIR1.

    Courteous Monthly Cashback

The Courteous Monthly Cashback lives true to its name. In a courteous fashion indeed, Chivalry Casino offers you a refund of up to 5% on any funds you lose. This cashback offer is available at the beginning of the month, with the refund being added to your account. It might have been a bit better to get a more accurate date than just “beginning of the month”.

    Double Comp Point Wednesday

Dubbed “the most festive event of the month”, this promotion doubles your points in relation to the amount of money spent. For example:

If 10 EUR = 1 point, on Double Comp Wednesday, 10 EUR would be worth 2 points.

As the name suggests, this offer is only valid on Wednesdays.

    Live Casino Tuesdays

This bonus offer incentivizes live casino players, with Chivalry Casino offering players a 10% cashback off losses in live casino games on Tuesdays. Contact the Casino support to receive it.

    Game of the Month Bonus

April’s Game of the Month is Arcane Beauties, a video slot game. Chivalry is offering a 50% bonus by using the code ARCANE50. It will be interesting to see whether they change games every month or whether it’s a one-time bonus.

    Bonus Terms & Conditions

I’ve picked out some relevant Terms and Conditions from Chivalry’s website that apply to the above bonuses. Take a look:

  • Special promotional deposit offers might carry a higher wagering requirement.
  • Deposit bonuses can be only claimed when the deposit is in the player's account balance and before any bets have been placed.
  • Once you receive a bonus you will be eligible to cash out a maximum of x20 of your deposit until your general casino balance reaches 0.
  • All Cashback carries a wagering requirement of 1X
  • Players cannot withdraw winnings derived from a Cashback until the sum of the cashback is wagered in full.
  • All Cashback is restricted to a maximum withdrawal limit of 10X the cashback amount.
  • All Cashback is non-withdrawable, and the casino reserves the right to deduct issued Cashback money from pending withdrawals.
  • This is all pretty standard practice for a casino. As usual, it’s extremely important to read any casino’s Terms & Conditions. Let’s move on to Chivalry’s VIP Club!

    VIP Club

The VIP Club is my personal favourite page on the entire site. You can tell the developers really took their time with this one, offering really nice designs (helmets, basically) to all available ranks of the VIP club. There’s also some clever wordplay at the end of the page that gives the page some nice charm, as opposed to the usual copy-pasted texts you would find at other casinos.

“… which can be found on this piece of sacred parchment T&C.”

“… and remember our squires within our VIP team are on hand…”

    Ha. Classic.

Anyway, back to the matter at hand. The VIP Knight Package offers four different tiers, each with its own unique rewards and bonuses. Check it out:

The way it works is fairly straightforward. The higher you climb, the more you earn. You can accumulate more loyalty points the higher you rank. The Medieval Knight of Chivalry earns 20$ more loyalty comp points than a Squire, and the top two tiers are granted a 5% – 10% monthly cashback as well.

Regarding the loyalty comp points wagering contribution, there is a 100% contribution for all Slots games. For all varieties of Blackjack, Roulette, Casino Poker, Baccarat, Video Poker, Craps, and Casino War, the contribution is 10%. All other unlisted games are at a 100% contribution. I think I’m going to start rising up the ranks real soon.

    Payment Methods and Withdrawals

There are many different payment methods and withdrawals available at Chivalry Casino. This is what I found relating to both. For payments:

  • Credit Cards (Such as VISA, Mastercard, and American Express)
  • e-Payment Platforms (Such as Skrill or NETELLER)
  • Wire Transfers (Banks)
  • Cryptocurrencies (Such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, etc.)
  • Credit cards take by far the longest at 10 days. The fastest and most convenient ways were the e-payment platforms like Skrill and NETELLER, which only take a single day to process. Wire transfers average out at 5 business days.

As far as withdrawals are concerned, check out the following:

  • Credit Cards
  • e-Payment Platforms (Such as Neosurf, giropay, Sofortuberweisung)
  • Wire Transfers
  • There is a minimum withdrawal amount of 100 (all currencies), which Is fair enough, as well as a minimum deposit of 20 (all currencies), also fair. I found that the fastest and most convenient ways to withdraw were once again via e-Payment platforms. One business day is all it takes to get your money. However, identification is necessary before processing any withdrawal. They asked me for a Photo ID, a utility bill, and a picture of my credit card (with certain numbers blocked out). Again, this is all pretty standard.

    Customer Support

Chivalry Casino’s customer support is primarily by email. Their email address is [email protected] However, there is also a 24/7 live chat that is supposedly available, although I had some trouble finding it at first. That’s one aspect that they could definitely improve. They only provide support in the English language. Better than nothing! The support agents were courteous (or rather, chivalrous) and they replied to my email fairly quickly. They showed quick availability and safe reliability. There’s nothing worse than unprofessional or condescending support agents, especially when you’re providing them with intimate documents such as credit card information and a utility bill. Thankfully, Chivalry Casino were far from that.

    My Opinion About Chivalry Casino

I had a pleasurable experience at Chivalry Casino. Starting from the moment I landed on their homepage to the very end. Sometimes, when you land at a particular casino, something feels… off. It can look cheap and rushed. I got the exact opposite feeling from Chivalry. I particularly liked their subtle blend of live-action people (the live casino dealers) with the graphics from the many games they offer (Sweet Mania’s desserts made me crave some cheesecake).

The site was very easy to navigate. It was the right length in terms of scrolling. My ideal navigation system would be full enough to scroll about 8 times, but not long enough for me to need to dislocate a finger to reach the end of the page. Scrolling down the page gives you just enough information to know what type of games the casino offers, while also teasing you with a few bonus offers such as the live dealer cashback bonus and the first mention of the VIP club.

Their game selection is very generous, with over 1000 slot games as well as plenty of table games. There’s a big variety in game providers which is always a healthy sign of an expanding casino.

Of course, I need to address the elephant in the room, which is their lack of a legitimate license. Now, no reason to panic, because this is fairly common with new casinos. Licenses take time, and I feel like they should be obtaining one shortly, although I wish there was some mention of it on the website.

The VIP Club provides enough incentive for me to want to join. The rewards look worthwhile, I will NOT be called a squire. I’ll be levelling up to Medieval Knight, far away from you common peasants.

The welcome bonus is also good enough to entice new players to join. Combining the three deposit bonuses to make up a total of 375% is a mouth-watering prospect, let’s just hope luck is on my side.

Their General Terms and Bonus Terms and Conditions pages are full of information. It’s nice to see a casino spell everything out for you instead of wondering whether they’ll be dropping a nasty surprise on you regarding an impossible withdrawal or an unrealistic bonus. There’s also a list of “irregular plays” that are banned from the casino such as using Martingale, a strategy that is considered to give an unfair advantage to the user. There’s also a dedicated Responsible Gaming section that talks about the dangers of gambling, even offering voluntary self-exclusion tools in case your gaming gets out of hand. All you have to do is contact customer support, whether through email or their live chat function.

To wrap things up, I’m impressed by Chivalry. They’ve got the potential to be more than just a newcomer in future years. I’ll recommend it to any aspiring squire looking to have some fun. Be warned, however, that I’ll be there waiting as a Medieval Knight!
